The Drum Instructor, Fil Bianco obtained his education at Ontario College Of Art, and Central Technical School. A self-taught, motivated individual, has also studied privately with Jim Blackley in Toronto. He has 27 years of teaching experience and 32 years of freelance playing professionally. Fil performs annually at outdoor festivals such as, Taste of Little Italy, Fiera on College St., Canada Day, Bindertwine Festival in Kleinburg, and the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts during July and August at the Theatre’s Courtyard for a delightful evening of Jazz. He’s also performed in the “Island Celebration” Musical at Paramount Canada’s Wonderland and other stage performances, at the Canadian National Exhibition, Ontario Place Forum and other Canadian/ U.S. appearances. Just to name a few names, Fil has studio recording experience with Canadian Artists, most recent recording with Joyce Aldrich, Chris Birkett, Paco Luviano, Chris Smit and Ruben Vasquez. Also Fil has recorded with Carlo Bianchini, Rich Dodson, Lionel Williams, Asher Horowitz, Anthony Panacci, and Ross Wooldridge. Fil Bianco’s objective, is to fulfill each student individually, to reach their potential ability in technique, creating and performing all styles of music.
